New Pieces on display at the PAPA Gallery
I have several new pieces on display at the PAPA (Paducah Area Painters Alliance) in Paducah KY. If you are out and about stop in at the gallery (124 Broadway) and take a look. The person on staff can look them up for you, making it easier to find. There are a lot of great pieces on display by other artist now through April. Artist reception February 12th from 4-6 pm.
I also have a few pieces at the Downtown Coffee Bar at 426 Broadway. Stop in and have a look around and be sure and get yourself a great cup of coffee or tea.

Snow Falling
It is so pretty outside right now...cold but the snow is soft and fluffy. Ellie love the snow and you will find her outside rumping through it and eating it. Then she comes inside and crashes on the couch for a long nap.
The end of December and this month have been hectic. My mother has been quite ill and has taken up much of my time taking care of her. Things are improving and I am hoping she will get back on her feet and feel more like doing some things instead of sleeping so much.
I need to get busy painting more pieces for a show in May at the Mayfield Graves County Art Guild. My friend Melanie will be sharing the space with me. She does sculptured figures.
Here is a piece I finally finished. I used pieces of actual birch bark from our tree. It is 24x30 on canvas.
