Hubby's New Toy

My hubby's new toy, tho I being a good wife, traded in my Murano to drive this. Have to admit it is fun to drive around and get some crazy looks. Its a Ford Transit Connect Premium Wagon. Long name for little vehicle. Its not that small. Took girls (dogs) for their first ride. Got their okay. Guess it's a keeper. 

Guess this is my Christmas Present!

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving holiday. We had 4 friends over to share our dinner. Had a good time and played a game called Reminisce. A lot like Trivial Pursuit, but more fun. 

Crazy around last couple of weeks. Hubby fell in love with a little red wagon! A 2013 Ford Transit wagon, that is. We hope to get it this weekend.

Trying to get some fun things made. Ordered a box of stamps from Scrap Club. I love stamps and stencils. I am also working on Christmas cards for Easter Seals and myself. Think I am moving over into the "crafter" area than fine art. Love it tho. It is very freeing.

Wow what a beautiful Friday. Started out really cold this morning, sun came out and it warmed up nicely. It really is a pretty fall this year. The trees are so colorful leaving lots of fallen ones on the ground. Guess there will be some raking for hubby tomorrow.

I have been busy helping our Easter Seals get ready for an art sale at Wilson's Office Supply Plus here in Paducah. This sale is to help raise money for the Easter Seal's artists with a percentage of the funds going towards art supplies for them. Easter Seals is a non-profit organization so it is a win-win situation for artist and buyer. Please come out if you are in the area. Sale starts November 12 - December 13, 2013 during business hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

My student, Whitney has just about finished her painting. She is really doing wonderful work. Here is a painting of her latest painting.
